We are a licensed general contractor services provider for the Baltimore GHHI organization--correcting health and safety risks in eligible low income housing. This activity provides our workers with challenging training opportunities while providing direct benefits to supported homeowners, many of whom can not afford repairs, mold or lead paint remediation, or energy efficiency upgrades from typical, non-participating home improvement contractors or home inspectors.
Tokori was recently approved as an eligible home improvement contractor for Anne Arundel Community Development Services, Inc., a nonprofit corporation dedicated to providing affordable housing and community development services in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Since its founding in 1993, the Corporation has worked to create and retain affordable housing, promote homeownership, facilitate neighborhood revitalization strategies and programs, preserve the County's rich cultural history, and implement community development programs to serve County residents most in need.

Below Tokori repairs an elder's roof in rural Virginia. He can't afford to have the roof repair, so we're donating our services during the weekend. We also build wheel chair ramps, etc. from left over or donated materials for those who need, but can not afford, to have them. Imagine what it's like to have to await for a response from the Government or a charity--just to enter and exit your home following hospitalization. We know what that's like, and we make sure that ramp is G2G before they get home. It's one of the ways we give back to the communities we work in...
